GEMINI BISTRO TO UNDERGO COMPLETE REJUVENATION IN 2017
Gemini Bistro, open since 9/9/09, is excited to announce the rejuvenation of the restaurant after a successful seven years in the neighborhood. Reopening as Gemini in 2017, the American bistro will embody the same neighborhood charm within a redefined space and an invigorated menu. Familiar faces will stay too, with an exciting business partnership between Gemini Bistro Owner Ryan O’Donnell and current Head Bartender and longtime friend Pauly Graves. This rejuvenation will also give Executive Chef Jon Keeley the opportunity to explore a new menu for the restaurant.
“We owe it to ourselves and our guests to provide an updated Gemini,” said Owner Ryan O’Donnell. “We’ve had tremendous success in the neighborhood, and having just resigned our lease and celebrating the 7th anniversary, it seemed like the ideal time to give new opportunities to our hard-working team.”
The team has partnered with 555 International Founder James Geier and Lead Designer Kristin Wynne to execute the extensive design overhaul, which will feature a lighter and brighter space that honors the inviting, approachable feel neighbors have come to expect when popping in on a weeknight. A centralized bar with 25 seats will become the focal point of the restaurant, with a deep marble bar top ideal for dining.
While the team is still working through the final details on the new food and beverage menus, Chef Jon Keeley is thrilled for the opportunity to showcase his seasonal American cuisine. Old Bistro favorites might not make an appearance, but Chef Keeley will be very conscious in keeping the menu familiar and recognizable to Gemini’s longtime loyal guests. In addition, new hours of operation include dinner seven nights a week and brunch service on the weekends.
